Rules and Regulations
Artist Division Eligibility
Participants must not be, or ever have been, a full-time paid professional in either a performing position or college teaching position, as of September 1, 2021. There is no age limitation, and the competition is open to anyone world-wide.
Student Division Eligibility
There is an age limit for applicants in the student divisions. Participants must not have reached their 21st birthday prior to December 15th, 2021. There are no exceptions. Applicants in either student division will need to supply proof of age with their application. Acceptable proof includes a scanned copy of a birth certificate, passport photo page, driver's license, or officially issued government ID that includes date of birth.
Each division consists of a required piece and a choice piece. A recording of both works is required to compete in the competition. View the repertoire here.
Each winner will decide which charity organization receives the registration fees from that competitor’s individual division.
Each winner will also be invited to perform a recital as part of the Tuba and Euphonium Charity Series’s 2022 Schedule.

Videos with multiple camera angles will not be accepted.
The choice work and required work may be recorded separately, but multi-movement works must be unedited and recorded continuously.
Piano accompaniment is not required. Works with electronic accompaniment must be recording with said accompaniment.
Submissions must be submitted by 11:59pm CST on December 15th, 2021.
Late registrants will not be considered

Applicants should submit their videos in an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Services such as Google Drive and Dropbox are encouraged
If using these services, please make sure the sharing settings allow for viewing. If we can't access your recordings, we can't judge them!
Results will be announced on January 24th!
